Dr Edmund Lee
Edmund graduated from the University of Queensland in 1998. He was awarded the Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners after completing his GP training in 2005. He continued working as a General Practitioner in Newmarket whilst working part-time as an orthopaedic surgical assistant for 6 months. Edmund has a passion for education and has had roles as Director on the Board of CSQTC (a Regional Training Provider for GP Registrars); Supervisor for GP Registrars and mentor for 3rd year medical students. He has presented to schools and hospitals and has been facilitating Small Group Learning for GPs for over 14 years. He is also a FRACGP college examiner. Not only does he teach, but he always continues to learn. He completed his Diploma in Child health in 2017 and completed Master of Medicine (skin cancer) in 2019 where he was awarded the Deans Commendation for Academic Excellence in 2018 and 2019. He thoroughly enjoys the variety of work in general practice, but has special interests in Paediatrics, ENT, Emergency Medicine, Ophthalmology and Skin Cancer Medicine. In his spare time he loves to spend time with his wife, son and daughter and cat. He also coaches his son’s soccer and cricket team, plays tennis and cricket.
